Gender
Gender norms shape the social environment of children and adolescents from an early age. They are reflected in relationships between boys and girls, expectations of how a “boy” or “girl” should behave, the space given to different voices, and the sense of safety to be oneself within the group.
Many groups and classrooms also experience sexist remarks, harmful comments related to gender or sexual orientation, peer pressure, subtle forms of social aggression, and boundary violations.
In Matzmichim workshops, we help children and adolescents identify harmful patterns, recognize hidden dynamics of pressure, belittling, or silencing, and strengthen norms of respect, equality, safety, and standing up against harmful behavior.
We also focus on early education for healthy and safe relationships. Friendships during childhood and adolescence provide an important foundation for relationships later in life. Through them, children and adolescents learn to recognize healthy relationships, set boundaries, identify controlling or pressuring behavior, and seek help when a relationship becomes unbalanced.

סדנה חווייתית בה נעסוק בחברויות, נלמד לזהות מערכות יחסים שמיטיבות עימנו או מזיקות לנו, נעסוק בהצבת גבול, זיהוי פוגענות ביחסים ומתן תמיכה וסיוע.
סדנה ייחודית הכוללת שיח קבוצתי ויצירת קמפיין בית ספרי העוסק באתגרים הרגשיים-חברתיים עימן מתמודדות הנערות.
הרצאות בהן נקבל טעימה מהשטח וכלים פרקטיים ליצירת שיח עם ילדים ובני/בנות נוער בנושאי מגדר.

מחקר ופיתוח
לצד העבודה בשטח, אקדמיית מצמיחים מפתחת ידע וכלים להתמודדות עם חרמות: סקר בקרב מחנכות ומחנכים, ספר הדרכה ייעודי, וחומרי עזר יישומיים להורים ולמורים באתר, בבלוג ובניוזלטר.
